SIGNAL VOID is a place where technological reception is absent or connection is lost. These photos were taken on a rural West Texas road where my phone loses signal and shifts to SOS. The images are lit by headlights or taillights and reveal only what’s immediate.

Caldbeck earned a BFA in Art History and Photography from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, and has lived and worked in Marfa, Texas for 15 years.
